LU decomposition with partial pivoting
Syntax
L = lu(A) [L,U,P] = lu(A)
Description
Factorizes matrix A into lower triangular L (unit diagonal), upper triangular U, and permutation matrix P such that P*A = L*U. With one output, returns the lower triangular factor only.
